English: Phrasal verbs - To hang

There's no point hanging around here anymore. To be honest, I don't think your friend is coming.

To hang around (somewhere) = to wait or spend time somewhere.

Examples:
  If you hang around for a while, Margaret will come to see you.

  Yesterday I hung around the London Eye for half an hour but Lisa didn't appear. I don't know what could have happened to her.

Extra notes:

*There's no point + "ing" = There's no sense + "ing"

*There's no point + in + "ing" = There's no sense in + "ing"
